Jose grew up in Mexico City and immigrated to Washington State at a young age. He attended Washington State University, receiving both his B.S. in Architecture and Masters of Architecture. Jose understands the importance of what Upper Valley MEND provides for the community, as he benefited from Upper Valley MEND programs when his family immigrated to Washington State. He always wanted to join Upper Valley MEND and be part of the organization that helped his family. Jose enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, going to the gym and studying anything related to architecture.
