Board of Directors
The Upper Valley MEND Board of Directors governs the organization to ensure it can successfully meet its mission both now and in the future. Members of the Upper Valley MEND Board of Directors have a legal and ethical responsibility to ensure that the organization does the best work possible in pursuit of its goals. The Board of Directors is responsible for setting the organization’s policy, hiring its executive director, setting its strategic direction, and ensuring adequate resources are available to meet the goals set forth. Board members bring diverse skill sets and backgrounds to the work at MEND and are committed to the mission of meeting each need with dignity.
Upper Valley MEND continuously accepts board nominations to fill board seats as board members' terms expire. We actively seek diverse, passionate, thoughtful candidates with varying skill sets and backgrounds.
If you have any questions about becoming a board member, please call Executive Director Kaylin Bettinger at (509) 548-0408 or email Kaylin@uvmend.org.
