Food

Everyone deserves access to healthy food.

Upper Valley MEND's food assistance programs offer individuals and families facing financial hardship a safe place to find nutritious food and hygiene items.

Our food pantry serves over 1,000 individuals monthly, while our gleaned produce benefits approximately 10,000 people across Central Washington, primarily through our Mobile Produce Pantry.

Community Cupboard

The Community Cupboard is a shopping model-style food pantry, open six days a week and accessible to anyone in need, with no geographical restrictions.

  • Shoppers use a points system to buy food. The number of points is based on the number of people in the household.

  • There are no income or address qualifications.

  • Shoppers can access seasonal programs like Thanksgiving and Christmas food boxes, holiday gifts for children, and partner programs providing lunch food for children during breaks from school.
