Housing
Addressing the pressing issue of affordable housing, Upper Valley MEND established an affordable homeownership program in 2001, which has 20 homes in two neighborhoods. Currently, we are in the process of expanding our affordable housing program by acquiring 31 rental apartments.
Affordable Homeownership
Low and moderate income individuals and families who live or work in the Upper Wenatchee Valley have access to affordable home ownership through MEND. The 20 homes in our program provide stable, quality homes for local families for roughly half the price they would pay on the open market.
