Thank you for considering making a gift of appreciated property. Giving stocks or bonds can provide you the ability to make a larger impact on our community. Your gift may be tax deductible, and you may avoid capital gains tax on the appreciated value of the gift.

How to Make a Gift of Stock
Step 1
Ask your broker to make a direct electronic transfer of the stock to Upper Valley MEND’s account. They may ask you for the following information

Please notify us as soon as your transfer instructions have been given to your broker. Your broker may not include your name in the transfer, and we cannot property acknowledge or record your gift without knowing the source of the donation. Please provide your name, contact information, the name of the security or securities being transferred, the number of shares, and the approximate value to Hillary Clark, Development Director, at hillary@uvmend.org or 509-293-8067.
