The Upper Valley MEND office and the Community Cupboard will be closed for Veteran’s Day on Wednesday, November 11. Regular hours will resume Thursday, November 12.

Free Foot Clinic
The Upper Valley Free Clinic is excited to announce a new partnership with Registered Nurse Rebecca Talbot-Bluechel, who will be offering a free foot clinic once a month in Leavenworth. Rebecca has worked for 10 years in public health in the Seattle area, providing foot care and education to underserved communities, including seniors and people who are unhoused, uninsured or underinsured.
The Foot Clinic will take place one Saturday a month from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the fellowship hall at Faith Lutheran Church, 224 Benton St. in Leavenworth. The clinic is free and everyone is welcome. Appointments are first come, first served.
Patients must live within Cashmere or the Cascade School District.
NCW Toy Drive--Volunteers Needed!
The NCW Community Toy Drive is continuing this year, helping families put gifts under the tree throughout the region. There are a number of ways to help, both at the regional level by buying gifts for distribution or donating funds, or at the local level by volunteering to help set up distribution events. MEND is helping spread the word about this wonderful event that helps make sure kids in the Upper Valley and beyond get to look forward to Christmas like everyone else.
When collection bins are placed in the community to collect gifts, their locations will be listed here. Please check back.
