Tracey Edou

Dr. Tracey Edou is the Superintendent of Cascade School District. Tracey’s roots are in the region; her great-grandparents moved to the area in 1904. Tracey’s grandparents had orchards in Wenatchee and Cashmere. Her grandfather, Roy Moore, worked on the Rock Island Dam and her grandmother, Mildred Moore, worked for the Wenatchee World. Tracey’s father, Michael Moore, graduated from Wenatchee High School.

Tracey has particular interests in STEM education, organizational structure, continuous improvement, strategic planning, and increasing access to opportunities for children. Her daughter Patricia is a recent veteran of the United States Marine Corps.  Tracey is a member of the Leavenworth Rotary Club and the Leavenworth Community United Methodist Church. Tracey has been impressed with how well Upper Valley MEND has supported families prior to and during the COVID-19 pandemic, and she’s excited to play a part in helping families in need.
