Lily is a native Seattleite but grew up coming to Leavenworth for Christmas lighting. Little did she know that she would come to call this beautiful mountain town home. Lily moved here in 2021 to pursue farming and worked on a local vegetable farm for a few seasons, cultivating her love for growing food and living off the land. Lily joined the MEND team in 2022 as the gleaning coordinator and fell into the community headfirst, staying on for two growing seasons. Now that she’s back on the MEND team, she is excited to get back into the community and help to better our local food systems.
