KOHO: New Leadership as Upper Valley MEND Opens New Chapter

Big changes are ahead at Upper Valley MEND, that’s meeting each need with dignity. The non-profit organization decided in March to cancel a major affordable housing development in Leavenworth due to budgetary reasons. In light of that, their executive director Chuck Reppas felt it was the right time for him to step down and allow new leadership to usher in a new chapter for the organization. The board of directors looked in-house and chose communications director Kaylin Bettinger to take the reins. KOHO’s Dan Langager sat down with Bettinger and Reppas here in the KOHO studio to talk about the transition process and what’s ahead for UV MEND.
